Smart Assist Mode (Automatic)
In addition to the three standard assistance levels (100%, 200%, and 400%), the MAHLE M40 introduces Smart Assist. This mode automatically calculates the necessary power by analyzing:
Rider power input;
Bicycle speed;
Terrain gradient;
Selected gear (in specific configurations).
This system optimizes battery consumption and increases range while maintaining a natural pedaling feel. The assistance ratio is customizable via the app or HMI (Human Machine Interface) within a range of 50% to 600%.
