Finally Sram presented its Sram Eagle PowerTrain ebike drive unit.

The Sram ebike drive unit is made together with Brose, but developed to Sram specifications.

The Sram PowerTrain group consists of the motor, battery, instrumentation, sprocket set, crankset, chain, brakes and, most importantly, the new SRAM automatic gearbox.

There is no version with manual gearbox, but it is also true that the automatic gearbox can be deactivated.

The Sram PowerTrain motor weighs approximately 2.9kg.

The torque is 90Nm, while the peak power is around 680Watt.

Three batteries are available: one 630Wh, one 720Wh and a 250Wh external battery.

With the appropriate App you can select and customize the intervention of the engine, as well as the operating mode of the automatic gearbox and the control of the batteries, the autonomy and the overall efficiency of the engine.

The complete test will be completed soon, while the new ebikes with the Sram engine will begin to be released in the coming months.
