Having in mind how a Sram XX AXS works, the new groupset can be a disappointment for us.

Despite the excellent technology, in the end it works as well as the old group, certainly better, but without having any illusions.

It is useless to deny the improvements, which exist and are tangible, but everything has a cost and perhaps there is even a limit to the costs to be incurred for one's passion.

However, bluntly, everything works slightly better, but we had no doubts ....

Above all, gear shifting is faster and more precise.

This is a notable difference from the previous group.

The new Sram XX T-Type Eagle AXS 2023 2024 group confirms its overall validity, about which we had no doubts.

Better in all respects than the classic XX, it does not differ much in practical reality, but it is undeniable that it is still better.

It's not worth replacing the old with the new.

For us, the high price and, at least at the moment, the fact that it has no compatibility except with Sram T-Type groupsets are its two main defects and problems that may also emerge in the future.

For the rest, excellent group and we think that the gearbox structure will be copied by others in the near future, this confirming the validity of the project.
