Red Bull Gives the S-Works Tarmac SL8 "Wings" with the Limited Tour Edition

Introduction

The Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8, already renowned for its performance, is now available in a special limited edition that further enhances its racing character. This exclusive version features a Red Bull – BORA – Hansgrohe livery, echoing the design of the race bikes used by Primoz Roglic and the rest of the team at the 2025 Tour de France. The Tarmac SL8 is presented as "the world's fastest race bike," and this special edition reinforces its image of extreme performance. Production is limited to 500 numbered units globally, and it will not be reproduced.

Limited Edition Features

Limited editions and commemorative liveries are a well-established practice in professional cycling. On this occasion, the collaboration between Red Bull – BORA – Hansgrohe and Specialized celebrates the 2025 Tour de France.

Frame: The FACT 12r Carbon frame is identical to that used by the professional team, with a claimed weight of just 685 grams. This highlights the commitment to lightweight design and competition-level performance.

Components: The bicycle is equipped with high-end components, including the new Roval Rapide CLX III wheels with distinctive white graphics and the latest SRAM RED AXS groupset. From the integrated Roval Rapide Cockpit to the S-Works Power Mirror saddle and S-Works Turbo TLR Race tires, the setup is meticulously crafted to maximize performance. The only visible differences between Roglic's race bike and the stock LTD model are the cotton tires and the Phenom saddle on the professional's bike.

Specifications and Price

This combination of premium frame and components results in a very low claimed weight of 6.64 kg (14 lbs 10.2 oz) for a 56 cm frame.

Price: The cost of this limited edition is €15,500, significantly higher than the €13,500 price of the standard S-Works Tarmac SL8, which is available with either SRAM RED AXS or Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupsets. However, the price reflects the exclusivity and high-level specification of this special version.

Availability

The S-Works Tarmac SL8 LTD is available now and is limited to a total of 500 numbered units worldwide.
