The new Husqvarna E-Bicycles Hard Cross range was created to satisfy the most demanding and courageous riders. At ease in fun bike parks as well as on the fastest single tracks, the Hard Cross is able to express itself at its best in different situations. Made in five different versions, it takes advantage of a sturdy and refined alloy frame with mullet configuration and high travel suspension: with 180 mm at the front and 170 mm at the rear, the new Hard Cross is an eMTB devoted to descent.

For the HC range, 2023 is the year of the revolution. Built to dominate the most demanding routes, this model is inspired - both in geometry and in frame design - by its sister Mountain Cross: however, it raises the bar in all complicated situations and adds interesting accessories such as the bottle cage.

The 64.5° steering angle, the reduced length of the 445 mm chainstay and the mullet configuration with a 29" front and 27.5" rear wheel are just some of the changes made to the chassis, among which the the geometry and positioning of the shock absorber. On the HC, everything is designed with a single, clear objective: to guarantee great safety on descents combined with incredible agility and intuitiveness when cornering and changing direction. Furthermore, the telescopic seatpost with a 77° angle makes the Hard Cross comfortable even uphill, a necessary and fundamental phase for attacking each new dive.

The entire Hard Cross range is equipped with a Shimano EP8 motor with a passive cooling system for the motor and battery: its 85 Nm of torque relieves the burning in your legs uphill, allowing you to concentrate all your energies on the descent. Thanks to the 720 Wh Core S2 battery integrated into the frame, the HC5 and HC4 versions have enormous autonomy, slightly higher than the HC3, HC2 and HC1 versions equipped with a 630 Wh battery.

The top of the range HC5 is equipped with top-of-the-range components, just what you would expect from a Husqvarna E-Bicycles: the suspensions are FOX branded, with Float 38Factory Grip 2 fork and Float X2 Factory shock absorber, while the transmission is Shimano XTR 12-speed; XT with 4-piston calipers and 220 mm discs and 203 mm brakes. The tubeless-ready DT Swiss HX 1700 SPLINE wheels are Schwalbe tyred, while the bluetooth LCD display offers a wide possibility to customize the characteristics of the EP8 motor via the E-Tube Project app.

Thanks to its all-new technical specifications and a revolutionized chassis, the new Hard Cross MY23 is ready to break down all limits.
