Canyon presented the new Grail 2022 range.
At the top of the Grail 2022 range is the super light Grail CF SLX, built around an 830g carbon frame and weighing just 8kg. Following this, the Grail CF SL provides a strong mid-range offering with a number of competitively priced models. Both carbon platforms feature the iconic Double Decker Bar - a cockpit that takes ergonomics to the next level with four different hand grips, for added comfort and reduced vibration.
Schwalbe G-One R 40mm all-terrain tires are featured exclusively on all carbon models, wrapped around DT Swiss gravel rims, with their solid reputation for smooth performance, long-lasting reliability and easy tubeless setup. Even the hugely popular, critically acclaimed Grail AL returns to the fold.
Electronic shifting makes its first appearance on this platform with the new SRAM Rival XPLR eTap AXS groupset, while the Grail 7 AW (which stands for All-Weather) is perfect for winter warriors, with powerful front and rear Lupine lights and mudguards included as standard. Coinciding with the new Grail look, Canyon has also expanded its LOAD product range.
The new Handlebar Bag offers two liters of waterproof storage with multiple mounting options for both Double Decker and standard cockpits. In addition, the new Frame Bag fits neatly into the front triangle of Grail CF models providing space for pedaling essentials, sheltered from the wind. The entire 2022 Canyon Grail AL, CF SL and CF SLX range is available at canyon.com.
