Look 795 Blade RS (Evolution)
The flagship road model, the Look 795 Blade RS, has undergone an evolution aimed at increasing aerodynamic efficiency and reducing overall weight. The implemented modifications are the result of CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing, designed to minimize drag.
Aerodynamic Profiling: The frame features further optimized tube profiles, with particular attention to the downtube, seat tube, and chainstays. The downtube-fork junction has been redesigned to create a smoother transition, reducing turbulence in this critical area.
Component Integration: Cable routing is now completely internal, from the handlebar to the frame, through a new solution for the stem and head tube. The triathlon and time trial segment saw the presentation of the Look 796 Monoblade RS, a model designed for maximum aerodynamic penetration and functional integration. This new generation stands out for technical solutions aimed at optimizing the rider-bike system.
Monolithic Design: The frame was conceived with a monolithic approach, where the fork, stem, and armrests are tightly integrated to form a continuous aerodynamic surface. The interface with the rider has been studied to allow for an optimal position.
Evolved AEROCODE TRi Fork: The fork is a key element of the system, designed to minimize drag and manage airflow around the front wheel. Its shape has been optimized to integrate with the frame profile, minimizing discontinuities.
Integrated Storage Solutions: The 796 Monoblade RS includes solutions for integrating hydration systems and containers for tools or energy bars within the frame, maintaining clean lines and aerodynamic efficiency.
Position Adjustment: The saddle and aerobar adjustment system offers a wide range of options to adapt to the specific needs of the triathlete, allowing fine-tuning of the position to maximize comfort and aerodynamic efficiency in competition.
Updates to KEO Blade Carbon Pedals
In parallel with the new frames, Look presented updates to its KEO Blade Carbon pedal range. Revisions focused on optimizing the weight-to-power ratio, durability, and ease of maintenance.
Materials and Weight: The use of new composites for the pedal body and the carbon blade has allowed for further weight reduction, while maintaining or improving structural stiffness and the contact area.
