3T Updates its "Italia" Range with New SRAM 1x13 and Shimano GRX Di2 1x12 Groupsets
Two different approaches, one single direction: uncompromising 1x performance.
3T announces significant updates across its entire Made in Italy range, adopting the new SRAM Force and Rival XPLR 1x13 electronic groupsets and the brand-new Shimano GRX Di2 1x12.
Following the pioneering introduction of the SRAM RED 1x13 groupset last year—used on polar opposite models like the Badlands-winning Extrema Italia and the aerodynamic award-winning Strada Italia from Tour magazine—3T is now expanding its offering with new tailored versions.
Available Configurations
RACEMAX ITALIA
Now available with SRAM Force or Rival XPLR 1x13. The Force version integrates the 3T Torno crankset, produced in Italy: a choice that reduces overall weight and optimizes aerodynamics.
STRADA ITALIA
New build available with Force XPLR 1x13, alongside the top-tier SRAM RED build. The configuration is completed with Fulcrum Sharq 42 wheels and Continental GP5000 S TR 34 mm tires, for a total weight of approximately 7.5 kg (size 54, tubeless, without pedals).
EXTREMA ITALIA
Now offered in two electronic variants: SRAM Force / Rival 1x13 "mullet" and the New Shimano GRX Di2 1x12 with a 10–51 cassette. Both setups emphasize the "almost MTB" soul of the Extrema. The GRX Di2 1x12, with its generous gear ratios, is ideal for long, challenging climbs. The SRAM mullet system, with its 52-tooth cog, ensures maximum versatility on the most technical terrains. Furthermore, every GRX Di2 component is independently powered, eliminating cables in the frame for a clean, modern, and entirely wireless assembly.
UDH Compatibility: A Strategic Choice
The early adoption of the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) standard, developed by SRAM, allows the entire Italia range to accommodate advanced drivetrains like 13-speed groupsets while keeping the frame unchanged. This forward-looking choice emphasizes modularity.

All updates are already available on 3T.bike and through authorized dealers.
