New Bianchi Infinito 2024 price weight assemblies everything you need to know

The Bianchi Infinito 2024 endurance bike is updated in many details, but not radically changed.

Bianchi has updated its Infinito endurance bike with new integrated cable routing to improve its aerodynamic efficiency.

The Italian brand says the bike is designed for long hours in the saddle, with a more accessible geometry than the Specialissima and Oltre XR4 racing bikes.

The Bianchi Infinito 2024 does not replace the Bianchi Infinito CV, but comes below it with a more accessible price.

The outgoing Bianchi Infinito range consisted of the Bianchi Infinito CV and Infinito XE.

The flagship Bianchi Infinito CV used Bianchi's Countervail technology, a viscoelastic material embedded in carbon fiber that was said to reduce vibrations by up to 80%.

The new 2024 Bianchi Infinito forgoes the use of Countervail, suggesting that the Infinito CV could also be updated soon, given that it doesn't use an integrated front end.

The new 2024 Bianchi Infinito can accommodate tires up to 32mm wide, identical to previous models, a size significantly smaller than current fashion with endurance road bikes capable of exceeding 38mm tire widths (as on the latest Giant Defy Advanced SL).

The Bianchi Infinito 2024, then, continues to use a standard BB86 press-fit bottom bracket, which everyone is now abandoning.

However, Bianchi has lengthened the head tube, stating that the greater stack height offered allows for a less aggressive riding position, which improves comfort during long hours in the saddle, otherwise the frame line remains practically identical.

The flagship Bianchi Infinito uses a Velomann (Bianchi's internal component brand) aluminum handlebar and stem with fully internal cable routing.

On this model, the hydraulic hoses are hidden in both the handlebars and stem and pass through the upper headset bearing.

However, the cheaper models in the range feature semi-internal cable routing.

On these bikes, the cables and hoses are routed externally onto the handlebars, then under the stem and into the frame through the headset top bearing.

The Bianchi Infinito 2024 is available in two colors: Celeste, and Deep Lustrous Purple.

Seven sizes available.

The weight of the lightest version is approximately 8.7Kg.
