We receive a detailed report from a reader that we publish:

" Support issues: Some riders have reported sudden interruptions in motor assistance, which could be caused by sensor problems, wiring or bad connections. Sometimes it brakes for no reason… other times it pushes like a madman. Other times it works great In short, it drives me crazy."

The problem you report is common to many owners of this ebike.

Since it is still under warranty, you must immediately report the problem to your dealer and have the ebike repaired, possibly with a letter from your lawyer also sent to Specialized.

The problem could lie directly in the torque sensor which is faulty and poorly connected to the control unit, or even the control unit itself.

These three elements should be analyzed and possibly repaired, overhauled or replaced.

If the problem persists, the entire engine block, wiring and instruments should be replaced.

Since your dealer has not been able to resolve the problem to date, I suggest you consult with a lawyer, whose intervention would also block the expiration of the warranty for this specific problem.
