All new 2024 Specialized Turbo Levo SL Comp Alloy review everything you need to know

The new Specialized Turbo Levo SL Alloy is a lightweight electric mountain bike that offers great value for money compared to its carbon counterpart. Here are some key features and specifications:

M5 Alloy Frame: The M5 alloy frame offers a solid construction and a more accessible price point than the carbon frame, while maintaining many of the same geometry and adjustable suspension features.

Motor and battery: The Levo SL Alloy is equipped with the same Turbo SL 1.2 motor as the carbon version, which delivers 50 Nm of torque and a peak power of 320 W. The integrated 320 Wh SL1-320 battery offers good autonomy.

MasterMind TCU Display: The MasterMind display integrated into the top tube provides important information such as power mode, battery capacity, speed, time, distance and more.

Mixed Wheel Mullet Configuration: The Levo SL Alloy is sold in a mullet configuration, with 29-inch wheels at the front and 27.5-inch wheels at the rear. However, you can upgrade to a full 29er setup without needing any additional parts.

High-quality suspension: The bike features Fox suspension, with a Float 36 Rhythm fork up front and a Float X Performance rear shock.

Branded Components: The bike is equipped with high-quality components, including a SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain, SRAM Code R brakes, Specialized rims, and Specialized Butcher and Eliminator tires.

Dropper Seatpost: An X-Fusion Manic dropper seatpost allows you to adapt your saddle height to suit your riding needs.

Competitive price: With a price of 6600 euros, the Turbo Levo SL Alloy offers excellent value for money compared to more expensive Specialized carbon models.

Weight: 20kg.

In summary, the Specialized Turbo Levo SL Alloy is an excellent choice for those looking for a lightweight, high-performance electric mountain bike at a more accessible price.

With a powerful motor, an integrated battery and high-quality components, it's ready to tackle off-road adventures with ease.

Among the defects we point out:

- still high weight

- autonomy not high

- still high price.
