Mtb Ridley RAFT 2023 price weight data sheet everything you need to know

This is the official presentation of the new Ridley Raft 2023:

Hit the trails with Ridley's new full suspension MTB.

Today, a full-suspension mountain bike for rough terrain can tackle much more difficult terrain than bikes available on the market a couple of years ago.
The reason is mainly the modified geometry of these bikes and the technological advances in the components (such as a dropper post, better shock absorbers and suspension forks).
The Raft is Ridley's answer to these changes.
It's packed with all the features of modern cross country full suspension mountain bikes - it's aggressive yet extraordinarily capable and controlled in a lightweight, efficient build.
Ridley launches two versions of the Raft, which leave no unexplored paths.
The Raft XC features 100mm suspension travel, making it a performance-oriented mountain bike. It is light and agile and therefore particularly suitable for narrow sliding tracks. Plus, it covers the ground extremely fast and is ideal for climbing, but still allows you to put the charge on the descents.
For cyclists who like to travel on more technical trails, the Raft TR is their soul mate. With a suspension with 120mm travel, this bike is the perfect companion for the most rocky and rugged terrain.GeometryThe geometry is incredibly versatile and makes the Raft the perfect companion for all off-road racing and getaways. The Raft features our Advanced Position Geometry (APG), fully suited to the intended use of the bike and terrain. The geometry of the Raft has been specially developed for steep and rough terrain. You can race, ride or ride in bikepacking. With a head tube angle of 66.6 for the Raft TR (spec 120mm), you'll have full control of the bike as you ride fast, steep and technical trails. While the 67.5 degree head tube angle on the Raft XC (100mm specification) improves handling for fast and aggressive riding on varied terrain. The Raft XC has a seat tube angle of 76 degrees, on the Raft TR the angle is 75 degrees. This corner of the tube

Rear wheel travel can be changed by varying the stroke length of the rear shock. A 40mm travel of the RockShox shock results in 100mm travel of the rear wheel, while a 45mm travel of the RockShox Deluxe shock is used for 120mm of travel.
Out front, rear wheel travel is paired with either a 100mm SID SL fork or a 120mm SID fork with 35mm struts.

The weight of an average sized unpainted frame is 1,750 grams.
The weight of a Raft TR with XX1 construction kit is 11.5kg in size L.

The Raft has an internal cable arrangement that gives the bike a clean look and keeps cables and hoses out of harm's way.
This technology is not used to make mountain biking more aerodynamic, as is the case on Ridley road bikes. Instead, it is used to protect cables from dirt and to minimize friction. Plus, they don't tangle on narrow, overgrown, bumpy and rugged paths.

No more problems to replace the derailleur hanger! You don't have to worry about a broken derailleur due to an accident when riding on unusual terrain and in different places around the world. With the universal derailleur hanger (UDH) you can easily find a replacement. Almost all bicycle dealers have a UDH in stock today, and you'll be back on the road in an instant.
