NEW Merida MISSION 2026 Price and Technical Specifications

NEW Merida MISSION 2026 Price and Technical Specifications

Merida introduces the new MISSION, a gravel bicycle developed for riders seeking performance, speed, and a competitive spirit. Designed with a CF4 carbon frame, aerodynamic geometry, and tire clearance up to 40 mm, the MISSION features an aggressive, race-oriented setup. Key new features include the MERIDA G.U.T. system—a storage compartment integrated into the frame—and the TEAM SL GR1P cockpit, which ensures control and stability even on the roughest terrain.

Today marks the drawing of the new frontier for high-performance gravel cycling.

The gravel world is evolving, increasingly moving towards performance, competition, and speed. With the new MISSION, Merida addresses this specific segment of enthusiasts, continuing its tradition of producing high-performance bikes for all surfaces. Aggressive geometry, generous tire clearance, a CF4 carbon frame, and specific gravel-focused features: this new Merida MISSION is engineered to excel when entering the competitive arena.

In many respects, the MISSION is positioned between the SCULTURA ENDURANCE on one side and the SILEX on the other. Observing the frame geometries confirms that a greater focus on aerodynamics is what truly differentiates the two gravel bikes in the MERIDA collection. The stack (the vertical distance between the center of the bottom bracket and the top of the head tube) is only 569 mm, which is lower than both the 607 mm of the SILEX and the 584 mm of the SCULTURA ENDURANCE. This highly aerodynamic position is balanced by the 391 mm reach (the horizontal distance between the two points indicated above), which ensures agility and responsiveness in every situation. Furthermore, the lowered bottom bracket provides superior control and stability.

Finally, the tire clearance. The new MISSION can accommodate gravel-specific tires up to 40 mm (compared to 35 mm for the SCULTURA ENDURANCE and 45 mm for the SILEX): the ideal balance point between generous tire clearance and the clean, elegant lines typical of road bikes.

Due to this racing vocation, all versions of the MISSION are available exclusively with the CF4 carbon frame, which represents the optimal intersection of weight, stiffness, and solidity.

Beyond the updates to the riding position, geometry, and aerodynamics, the Merida MISSION is equipped with a series of additional features that complete the riding experience.

A prime example is the MERIDA G.U.T. (Gear, Useful Things) system: a storage compartment integrated into the downtube that provides space for a spare inner tube and other essential accessories for rides or gravel races. Everything is stored in a custom-designed bag to prevent vibrations and noise, even on the most uneven terrain.

Another example is the integrated MERIDA TEAM SL GR1P handlebar, based on the aerodynamic monocoque cockpit found on the REACTO, SCULTURA, and SCULTURA ENDURANCE. This GR version features a more pronounced flare (the outward angle of the lower part of the drop) for optimal control on rough surfaces.

The new Merida MISSION is presented in several configurations, allowing every cyclist to choose the ideal version according to their needs. Three models are planned for the Italian market:
