NEW CANYON GRIZL 2026: Price, Availability, and Key Technical Details
NEW CANYON GRIZL 2026: Price, Availability, and Key Technical Details
When Canyon launched the original Grizl four years ago, it was a massive success, arriving at precisely the right moment. Robust, reliable, and super versatile, it captured the increasingly adventurous spirit of gravel riding and pushed it even further into the wilderness. But why stop there? Canyon embraced the desire for life-changing exploration and created the all-new unstoppable, adaptable, and durable Grizl for the modern off-road bike adventurer.
Designed to tackle known and unknown challenges, the new Grizl is infinitely adaptable to all adventures. Here's a rundown of all the new features:
Increased tire clearance up to 54mm
More mounts, more space, more frame triangle volume
Front and rear rack compatibility
Semi-integrated cable routing, no more frame damage from housing rub
Completely new geometry for carving-style descents
Standard standards: round seatposts, external clamps, 1 1/8" steerer tube
7 sizes for riders from 160 to 200cm+
Out-of-this-world Full Mounty cockpit options
Revolutionary ECLIPS power innovation on selected models
The new Grizl CF range is now built on a single robust and adaptable carbon platform. This bike performs so well that Canyon wanted to do it justice with a range that caters to every type of rider.
That's right, one becomes two: Canyon now introduces the Grizl OG and the Grizl Escape. Both share the same lightweight yet super-strong carbon frame, the same "always-gets-you-home" handling, and the same core adventure-enabling features, but each is built differently.
The Grizl OG is so named because it's the closest to Canyon's original, wildly popular, party-ready adventure machine. It's designed and engineered for riders who want their ride to be as fun as possible.
The Grizl Escape is the wilder one. Canyon's ultimate bike for multi-day horizon hunters who want the ideal companion to push boundaries and find peace in wild places. Did we mention the handlebars yet? You surely know Canyon has some experience when it comes to handlebar innovations...
The Original Graveller vs. The Escape Artist
For those seeking a reliable, versatile bike for sunset spins, weekend outings, and "best-day-ever" rides, we created the Original Graveller, or OG line for short. For those packing bags and heading for the horizon, the Escape line is optimized for multi-day, long-distance rides and the trips of a lifetime.
Tell me about the Grizl OG:
"Pure gravel" gear ratios from SRAM XPLR or Shimano GRX ranges offer wide gearing without large jumps.
Canyon's HB0067 round handlebar and ST0046 stem provide subtly rounded, backswept comfort with full angle adjustment.
Schwalbe G-One RX 45mm tires deliver all-weather on-road grip while maintaining excellent off-road traction.
Four models with prices ranging from €2,399 to €7,999.
And what about the Grizl Escape?
"Mullet" gearing with mountain bike cassettes for hauling heavy loads or tackling the longest, steepest climbs.
The 31.8mm Full Mounty cockpit offers more hand space and room for mounting gear.
Schwalbe G-One Overlander 45mm tires for smooth speed and unstoppable toughness.
Three models from €2,999 to €6,999.
Canyon X DT Swiss RIFT Suspension
The F132 One fork with 40mm of LINEAIR air travel delivers comfort and a cornering-enhancing plushness, while maintaining control for those difficult moments you notice too late.
The profiled steerer plates, internal brake routing, and cargo mounts for attaching gear make it elegant enough to integrate seamlessly onto your bike.
The geometry is designed to further improve the Grizl's handling.
And a wide-range rear shock, complete with an internal remote lockout control, offers open or locked climbing efficiency without having to take your hands off the bars.
Introducing ECLIPS
ECLIPS completely removes the hassle of powering and charging lights and devices when you're on the go and off-grid. A SON front wheel dynamo ensures friction-free charging to keep the Smartcore battery topped up, for true "as-long-as-you-can" freedom.
The wiring and Lupine Smartcore battery are completely internal for maximum protection and clean, gear-friendly aesthetics.
The Lupine Nano SL front light and C14 rear light are ultra-compact yet powerful enough for safe, all-night pushing on trail and terrain.
A USB-C charging port allows you to charge devices like your phone, GPS, or camera while riding.
All controlled by a Canyon BlackBox and manageable via the Canyon app.
Let the Fun Flow
Unveiled as the latest chapter in Canyon's range, Canyon's new gravel wheels complete Canyon's comprehensive performance system for gravel bikes. Developed in collaboration with DT Swiss, Canyon's new GR 30 wheelset features a DT 350 Spline hub with Aerocomp spokes and 30mm deep hookless carbon rims with a 27mm internal width to provide a flat and wide contact patch for low-pressure, high-grip tubeless tires.
All the Gear
If you're going to be Grizlin', you'll want to consider the accessories. On the Full Mounty, the LOAD handlebar bag, extensions, food pouch, and Grizl front rack are optional. The Fidlock Quickloader, long top tube bag, and universal rear rack are additional options. And to keep you clean, 50mm Fast Fenders will be your best friends when the weather doesn't cooperate.
