A new version of the Polygon Strattos C endurance road bike has been introduced, designed as a versatile all-rounder for use on all types of roads. The new Strattos C is engineered to be lighter, faster, and more comfortable than its predecessor.
The frame has been updated to offer increased comfort and rear-end compliance, achieved through the adoption of narrower, dropped seatstays. Furthermore, the maximum tire clearance has been increased, now accommodating up to a 34 mm section.
While not as inexpensive as the carbon Strattos S series, the new Strattos C positions itself among the most accessible options on the market for a road bike equipped with electronic groupsets, aerodynamic carbon wheels, an integrated cockpit, and updated to the latest modern industry standards.
2025 Polygon Strattos C: Technical Specifications and Design
The new Strattos C was conceived to elevate Polygon's endurance range, focusing on the concepts of Comfort, Compliance, and Control.
Geometry: The bike features higher Stack figures and generally shorter Reach, resulting in a more upright and comfortable rider position, aimed at reducing strain on the back and shoulders. Despite the focus on comfort, the geometry maintains road bike angles and short chainstays, even with the generous tire clearance, in order to ensure responsive handling.
Integrated LINC Components: The Strattos C leverages the partnership with LINC (Polygon’s sister carbon component company) to offer an accessible integrated cockpit solution. The setup includes a one-piece integrated carbon handlebar/stem unit, available in three widths (38/40/42 mm) and three lengths for the -10° stem (90/110/120 mm). The design is aerodynamic and features fully internal cable and hydraulic line routing through the 1.5-inch headset (steerer set). The various builds are supplied with size-specific LINC cockpits (e.g., 90x380 for XXS-S, 120x420 for XL-XXL).
Frame Technical Details: The frame and fork are constructed from ACX hi-mod blend carbon fiber. Cable routing is totally integrated. The bottom bracket is a T47x68 threaded type, and the seatpost is round with a 27.2 mm diameter featuring a hidden wedge-style clamp. The bike is compatible exclusively with electronic drivetrains, offers 2x readiness with a braze-on front derailleur clamp, and a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger. 12 mm thru-axles are adopted, and the brake mount is Flat Mount (FM140), utilizing 160 mm rotors on complete builds. Maximum tire clearance is 34 mm (700c), and it is available in 7 sizes (from XXS to XXL).
Builds and Pricing (2025)
The Polygon Strattos C is offered in three complete builds with electronic shifting, all based on the same carbon frame platform:
Strattos C7 Di2: The most accessible build, priced at $2900 / €3300. It is equipped with a Shimano 105 Di2 groupset, the LINC integrated carbon cockpit unit, and Polygon's own WR4 carbon wheels (40 mm deep, 21 mm internal) that are tubeless-ready. Claimed weight is 8.6 kg.
Strattos C8 Di2: A higher-tier option, priced at $3400 / €3800. It features an upgrade to the Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset, with a claimed weight of 8.4 kg.
Strattos C9 AXS: The top-of-the-line model, available at $4500 / €4500. It is equipped with the fully wireless SRAM Force AXS E1 groupset and ultralight LINC Alpha carbon wheels (35 mm deep, 22 mm internal) with aero carbon spokes. Claimed weight is just 7.9 kg.
All three builds are expected to be available at authorized Polygon dealers this month.
