New Ibis Oso 2026: The Modular eMTB Bridging the Gap Between Ripmo and Ripley

Discover the second generation of the Ibis Oso: a modular platform with three configurations (HD, TR, S), a 100Nm Bosch CX Gen 5 motor, and Ripmo-inspired design.

Ibis Oso 2nd Gen: One Platform, Three Electric Personalities

Two years after the debut of the original model, Ibis has unveiled the second-generation Oso, marking a radical shift in both design and engineering philosophy. While the first Oso stood out with its polarizing aesthetics and unconventional lines, the 2026 version aligns perfectly with the iconic design language of the Ripmo and Ripley, introducing a concept of total modularity.

The new Oso is not just a single bike, but a versatile platform that—by swapping the shock, fork, and suspension clevis—can transform into three distinct models with varying travel and geometry. This allow it to adapt to any rider, from the "S" (Sport) build to the "HD" (Heavy Duty) enduro machine.
