CANNONDALE CAAD14 3 SHIMANO 105 2026 review test: Build Quality
The 2026 Cannondale CAAD14 3 represents the pinnacle of SmartForm C1 Premium aluminum manipulation. The quality of the double-pass welds is, as per tradition, excellent, with a finish that aims to enhance the metallic nature of the frame rather than hide it. However, the price positioning (€2,499 list price) is ambitious for a bike equipped with a mechanical groupset. The build quality is indisputable, but the ratio between equipment and final cost is only just sufficient in the current market, dominated by competitors offering entry-level carbon or electronic groupsets at similar prices.
