Bugatti x Factor ONE 2026: The "Illegal" €26,000 Bike

If you thought the standard Factor ONE was already extreme, prepare for a change in perspective. From the collaboration between Factor Bikes and Bugatti comes a limited-edition "superbike" that pays no mind to UCI regulations. The result? The Bugatti Factor ONE, a masterpiece of aerodynamics and luxury with a starting price of approximately €26,000.

This project is not merely a style exercise; it is an engineering challenge: what happens when aero engineers stop following the rules and start chasing pure, unadulterated speed?

"Illegal" Aerodynamics: Beyond UCI Limits

The most striking technical detail is the front end. To optimize airflow, Factor designed a fork with a stance width of 147 mm, vastly exceeding the UCI limit of 115 mm.

Aero Efficiency: This new geometry, combined with a specific fairing for the brake caliper, reduces drag by approximately 2 watts and drastically improves stability at high speeds.

Bugatti Design: The frame features an exposed 3K twill carbon weave, the same used on Molsheim's hypercars, finished with the iconic Bugatti two-tone graphic and the historic "Dancing Elephant" emblem (a tribute to Rembrandt Bugatti).

Dream Components: Carbon, Ceramics, and Alcantara

The technical spec sheet of the Bugatti Factor ONE is a "wish list" for every gear nerd. Every component was chosen to represent the pinnacle of the cycling industry:

Drivetrain: SRAM RED AXS groupset paired with an SRM ORIGIN PM9 power meter and THM carbon cranks.

Italian Details: Custom Bugatti Carbon-Ti chainrings and rotors, featuring a steel braking track and a carbon core.

Frictionless Performance: CeramicSpeed T47 ALPHA bottom bracket and OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel) system.

Contact Points: Selle Italia SLR saddle upholstered in Alcantara (mirroring Bugatti car interiors) and Continental GP 5000 TT tires with French Racing Blue sidewalls.

The wheels are the Black Inc Bugatti Hyper 62, designed to be the cycling equivalent of a hypercar rim.

Carbon Spokes: Utilizing co-moulded rim-to-rim carbon spokes, a construction that increases stiffness while drastically reducing rotating mass.
