A reader reports this problem to us: I have a problem with my Bosch powered TREK Powerfly LT 7 plus ebike, during use on very uneven ground the displey goes off and consequently the engine, I have to wait about a couple of seconds to turn it on again the display. The problem is very annoying, what can I do?
With ebikes, do-it-yourself is less possible, as is improvising bike mechanics.
You must contact a specialized Trek/Bosch centre, the problem, which can be of various types, must be identified with the Bosch diagnostic tool.
At first sight it seems to be a connection problem between the various components of the ebike, therefore all the relative wiring should be analyzed and possibly replaced.
Even first, the ECU should be analyzed and verify that the updates have all been made.
Then it is necessary to check and, if necessary, replace the display.
