Cheaper to buy, but always with a price of 6 thousand and 7 thousand euro for the two available versions.
Good assembly and general quality of the bicycle.
The aluminum frame does not penalize performance, given the excellent thrust of the electric motor, it is more reliable and resists better in the event of a fall.
Downhill performance is excellent and like the version with carbon frame.
Thick for the stretches on the plain, where the difference in acceleration between the carbon and aluminum version is barely noticeable, obviously in favor of the lighter version with a carbon frame.
The differences in uphill performance are barely noticeable, but even in this case the version with a carbon fiber frame is barely better, but nothing important.
Conclusions?
The Specialized Turbo Levo is an excellent pedal assisted mtb, the new model with aluminum frame is as good as the carbon frame and is cheaper, therefore better in everything. The differences in performance with similar carbon models are virtually nil.
Defects? In the end, the price could be lower, at least another thousand euros less, then there remains the problem of expensive maintenance and the high cost of spare parts; in short, they are not all "roses and flowers" ...
