New Specialized Stumpjumper 15 EVO 2026: Price, Specs, Everything You (Really) Need to Know
The Specialized Stumpjumper 15 will now officially be referred to as the Stumpjumper 15 EVO. This decision came after listening to feedback from both riders and retailers, and then "evolved through meaningful, performance-focused spec updates." So, it's perhaps more than just a name change.
Specialized stated that "With more travel and more control, the MY26 Stumpjumper 15 EVO punches well above its weight and now wears the name to match."
Suspension and Geometry: What Makes the Stumpjumper 15 "EVO"
In terms of suspension and geometry, the new Stumpjumper 15 EVO will increase front fork travel from 150mm to 160mm. Additionally, the rear shock gets an upgrade from the standard FOX Float with Genie to a FOX Float X Genie with a piggyback.
The Stumpjumper 15 EVO's geometry benefits from a 0.5-degree slacker head tube angle due to the longer fork. Furthermore, the cockpit will feature a higher-rise handlebar for improved control and trail feel.
Tires and Market Positioning
The tires will be updated to a Butcher and Eliminator combination for better grip and added confidence. Specialized believes that the model year 2026 Stumpjumper 15 EVO will "live in that sweet spot between trail agility and all-mountain rowdiness."
Models, Pricing, and Availability
The new Stumpjumper 15 EVO will be available in Expert EVO and S-Works EVO models. If these are the only options, it will mark a drastic reduction in the number of build configurations going forward. The top-tier S-Works EVO version is expected to be priced at around €12,500, while the Expert EVO version will be approximately €7,000.
