The availability of sizes is excellent, as is the new engine, more powerful and with greater torque.
The general build quality is very good, all the proposed versions are well assembled and with quality products.
The weight of about 17.7 kg is in line with its assembly and price.

The frame of the Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo SL 2023 Ebike is very well done, with modern, updated geometries and a very high quality of construction.
It is not a cheap e-bike but the frame is well made and also the real plus is the abundant number of sizes, there are no sacrifices, everyone has their own right frame.
The rear suspension is also new.
Motor and integrated battery are the classic Specialized products, well made, powerful, with good autonomy and good reliability.
Too bad that the battery and integrated instrumentation are not easy to replace and maintain.
Worth noting is the presence of the external battery which extends the range and which is standard in the more expensive S-Works SL and LTD version.

The general performance of the Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo SL 2023 Ebike is very high, one of the aspects where the improvement compared to the previous model is most tangible.
The new engine is more powerful, has more torque and more thrust.
It is a pity that the range has remained substantially unchanged, between 50 and over 100 km depending on the use of the engine.
As always, pedaling without the thrust of the electric motor is not very pleasant.
The new engine has a very gradual and discreet intervention, it never gives the sudden hit of other competitors, making pedaling very fluid.
Its optimal intervention takes place at about 80 pedal strokes per minute, quite a few for those who are not trained.
In reality, its thrust is still valid even going slower.
Its noise is not high.
Thinking of pedaling without the help of the electric motor is still something to
only do in an emergency.
The best thing is to always have a minimum of thrust, so as to make the bicycle light and easy.
The possibility of programming the motor intervention force is useful.
Using the maximum thrust of the engine only for the sections where you want to be really fast.
Overall it is a very good, expensive, but high performance ebike.

It has a great frame, available in many sizes and very well made.
The motor and battery are just as good.
It's not cheap and it's not cheap to maintain.
It also holds the value on the used market well (at least in the past, but it will certainly be the same for this version) and proves to be superior to many other similar ebikes.
Expensive, but great e-bike.
We believe that after the summer and in the first months of 2024 at least one version with an aluminum frame will arrive for around 5,000 euros and a carbon version with an entry level assembly for around 6,500 euros.
Two future models that could be much more interesting than the one being tested, a too expensive "toy" to have fun in the woods ...
