New SCOTT GAMBLER 2026: Rumors, Features, Price, Weight, News - Everything We Know

A prototype of what appears to be the latest evolution of the SCOTT GAMBLER 2026 downhill bike has been spotted.

During an event at a Welsh bike park, the prototype was seen in action, highlighting its potential capabilities.

It's been six years since the last significant update to the previous SCOTT GAMBLER 2026 model, and this new version appears to adopt the frame aesthetic currently favored by the manufacturer.

The rear shock is now integrated into the frame, a feature already seen on other models from the brand, such as cross-country and enduro bikes. This change marks a clear departure from the previous model, which used a vertically mounted shock absorber and a quadrilateral suspension system.

Hidden Shock Absorber and New Leverage System

The prototype of THE NEW SCOTT GAMBLER 2026 has been spotted testing at the bike park.

The manufacturer has shared images and videos of the prototype via social media, indicating a less secretive approach than usual.

The SCOTT GAMBLER 2026 prototype has also been used in downhill competitions, with promising results.

The development of this bike has been a multi-year process, building on recent innovations implemented in other models of the brand.

The new SCOTT GAMBLER 2026 model appears to share similarities with an enduro bike of the manufacturer, which houses the shock absorber horizontally in the down tube, accessible via a bolt-on cover.

Adjustments and Customization

The rear shock absorber is integrated into the frame, as in other models of the manufacturer.

The linkage system bears similarities to that used in another model of the brand.

The front shock bolt appears to have adjustments, with diamond-shaped inserts allowing it to be locked in place.

It is speculated that these adjustments may alter the progression of the rear suspension travel.

Further adjustments appear to be present on the machined aluminum rocker arm that connects the seatstays to the main frame.

Bolt mounts are visible for a removable brace, which may affect rear end stiffness and rear wheel traction.

The rear axle dropouts appear to be replaceable, presumably to accommodate different wheel sizes or to change the length of the chainstay.

Noise Reduction and Improved Smoothness

The drive-side chainstay features a chain damping guide.

This guide, located above and below the chainstay, helps reduce drivetrain noise.

There is also a device that replaces the standard chainring, reducing pedaling kickback through the suspension system.

These solutions are intended to create a quieter, more comfortable bike.

It was not possible to take a closer look at the prototype, as the bike is not yet officially available.

More details will be provided when the NEW 2026 SCOTT GAMBLER is officially released.

At the moment there is no confirmation of this project, but the hypotheses seem very plausible.
