Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road test review Build quality

The Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc, has a valid general build quality, it is not cheap but the frame is well made, the availability of sizes is good, while it is a pity that it is not possible to choose the preferred color regardless of the assembly.

Although not an absolute cheap bike, the value for money is good.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road Test Review Frame

The Giant TCR frame remains an excellent product, well made, with a wide availability of sizes and good overall build quality.

The weight of the frame is contained, even in this version without integrated seatpost and not top of the range.

The weight / price ratio remains favorable, even if we are at a value of 7.4 kg, which for a bike with disc brakes is also a little bit, but in absolute terms it is certainly not cheap given the price above 5 thousand euros.

Although it is not really a bargain, but the value for money is still good.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road Test Assemblies Review

The range of assemblies is complete and allows everyone, or almost everyone, to have access to the Giant TCR.

The build and assembly quality, in each version, is good.

Except for the price of the top-of-the-range version, in other cases the prices are good and competitive.

A comparison between the entry level of the range and the top of the range is however merciless.

They are two different bicycles that are not even comparable.

The Giant TCR Advanced Pro 0 Disc version with the Ultegra Di2 groupset has a good value for money and doesn't weigh a lot, but 10 years back a bike weighing over 7 kg was considered a "gate".

Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road test Comfort review

The version without integrated seatpost of the Giant TCR has a high ride comfort, it is not an endurance bike, but not that far.

Long distances are therefore feasible with good ride comfort.

One of the most comfortable racing bikes, an excellent result.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road Test Review Guide

The Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc is no surprise, a sincere, predictable, safe racing bike.

Excellent in descent, valid in braking, above all a great ease of driving emerges.

Downhill it is safe and easy to control, as well as on damaged asphalt sections.

Not very sensitive to crosswinds and very easy to drive on long straights exposed to the wind.

Equally pleasant to drive is on the curvy sections of the road.

A beautiful racing bike with a point frame, satisfies the amateur as the agonist.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road test review Performance

The Giant TCR is undoubtedly a high performance bike, great on any trail.

It has no weakness and this is its strength.

It goes well on the plains and hills, but it expresses itself equally well on the climb, excellent on the descent.

Its rigid frame pleases the most powerful athletes.

Ultimately it has only a few grams too many, otherwise it would be perfect.

In its price range and with a similar technical equipment it has no big rivals.

A very competitive racing bike.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc Road test review Pros and cons

The Giant TCR Advanced Pro Disc proved to be a very competitive, multipurpose, comfortable and high performance racing bike.

It is not a top-of-the-range model, slightly heavy in absolute terms, but it has an excellent value for money.

It is fine and competitive on any course.

This is its merit.

For the shortcomings, the weight, 7.4Kg are also competitive today, but the cyclists a few years back said they were enormous ...

The power of marketing has upset the judgments and today a bike must be technological not light.

Giant made it!

Nice competitive bike and with an honest price.
