Hi Luca,
I would gladly receive indications of the right size of the new bike I would like to buy.
Bike model: Trek Emonda SLR
Height: 170 CM
Crotch height: 83 CM
Arms length: -
Racing or amateur position: Amateur position
The correct size of the Trek Emonda is, perhaps, the 52, which is just small from a racing point of view, but still large from an amateur point of view.
Size 54 would be correct from a racing perspective and for the type of bike.
Given the physical problems, however, it is not certain that the size is correct or that it can really go well; certainly not the 54, but even with the 52 there could be problems.
The type of frame would also be incorrect.
You need to consult your doctor, consult with a sports doctor who is competent in cycling and then first choose the most appropriate frame, then the correct size.
Excellent racing bike, but consider carefully if it is suitable for you.
