The correct size of the GIANT DEFY ADVANCED road bike is ML.

However, preferring an amateur riding position and having lumbar pain, I wouldn't rule out the size M, which with a shorter horizontal tube allows you to have a higher and more comfortable position in the saddle.

Among other things, in this way, it would also have a greater difference in height between the saddle and the handlebars, which would not be possible with the size ML.

Ultimately if the theory says size ML, the practice for your specific case recommends a more appropriate size M.
