First carbon racing bike which one to choose advice
We respond to a reader who asks us for advice:
Hi Luca,
I am writing to ask you for advice. I am a simple amateur cycle, I would like to buy a carbon racing bike, versatile, but having a weight ranging from 87 to 90kg for a height of 189, would you recommend an Aero bike a little heavier or orient me on something else? Could you recommend me some brands and models? Thanks in advance.
Weight is not a problem and certainly an aero bike is not suitable for a simple enthusiast looking for a multipurpose racing bike.
A good quality entry level bike is fine, best with endurance geometry.
Great bikes can be:
La Cube Agree (Cube Agree C62 2022 2023 road test ride review)
The Trek Domane (Trek Domane SLR 2023 road test ride review)
The Giant Defy (Giant Defy Advanced Pro Disc 2022 2023 road test ride review)
Three excellent Endurance racing bikes, comfortable, reliable, with excellent performance.
Just buy the entry level version, with Shimano 105 or Sram Rival group, and you're good to go!
