By ingesting a supplement based on amino acids, their absorption is immediately passed, so after reaching the liver, they are redistributed to the general circulation and can be used for the synthesis of new tissue proteins, the synthesis of plasma proteins, used to be inserted into the pathway. metabolic of lipids or be used for energy production.

If amino acids are not used for protein synthesis, they are oxidized directly or transformed into glycides and lipids.
