We respond to a reader who asks us for advice on which endurance racing bike to buy:
"Good evening Luca, we've known each other for a long time now. I'm Luca and I have some back problems, including a t8-t9 thoracic hernia which I must say is under control and never bothers me. I'm considering the purchase of a new bike, (I come from the old style Domane of '17) Prices have risen in recent years and today it is impossible for me to spend over € 10,000 for a Domane that weighs 8.5 kg, by the way !.
So I like Cube Agree and it has a fair value for money. Do you think it is comfortable enough? Can it be compared to other endurance models so as not to tire the back?
In the case also a suggestion on the size (height 177 cm, crotch 86 cm, saddle height on the Domane 767 mm)

I agree on the cost and weight of modern racing bikes.
Cube Agree can be an excellent alternative.
Maybe a little less comfortable than a Trek Domane, but nothing that could cause you any physical problems.
In theory, the correct size is 56, but with that size you would be very stretched and I think you will have back problems, better the 53, which would be just small, but you have a higher bust and less contracted vertebrae.
In reality, then, it is not that compared to your current bike you will see many changes in terms of performance.
A tip, try to replicate the measurements of your current bike on the new one.
