2025 CERVELO R5 rumors features price weight news

There have been rumors about a new Cervelo R5 2025 for some time.

In reality there is no certain news, but it could be more than plausible that Cervelo is working on a new Cervelo R5, after having renewed the S5.

The new Cervelo R5, if released, will unlikely be seen before the end of 2024 or early 2025.

Starting from the Cervelo R5 frame, we should expect a new CERVELO R5 2025 bicycle, lighter than the current one, with a weight saving on the frame kit of at least 50 grams, but perhaps even 100.

Surely a new integrated handlebar and a new seat post will arrive.

Then greater ride comfort and better aerodynamics.

With this upgrade, the new CERVELO R5 2025 would be competitive compared to the current model and would also become competitive again compared to the latest innovations from the competition.

The price, then, would align upwards, so let's assume around 6500 euros for the frame kit, which would still be in line with the Specialized Tarmac SL8...

There is no official confirmation from CERVELO on the existence of this new CERVELO R5 2025 racing bike.

Obviously the new frame will only be for disc brakes.
