New Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 2026: Price and Key Details

Canyon Aeroad: New CF SLX “Speed” Editions Focus on Aerodynamic Gains

Canyon has introduced two new editions of its acclaimed Aeroad CF SLX race bike, designated as "Speed" models. These new iterations build upon the Aeroad's established reputation for aerodynamic performance, aiming to further enhance speed for riders prioritizing efficiency. The Aeroad frame design has consistently demonstrated its speed at the highest levels of professional cycling.

Aeroad CF SLX "Speed" Editions: Aerodynamic Optimization

The two new Aeroad CF SLX "Speed" editions are engineered for riders focused on performance and aerodynamics. A key feature is the inclusion of pre-mounted aerodynamic drops, which offer an effective reach that is 10mm longer compared to classic drops. This aggressive, more aerodynamic position is claimed to provide a power saving of up to 14 watts.

Aeroad CF SLX 8 AXS Speed

The Aeroad CF SLX 8 AXS Speed model is equipped with the SRAM Force AXS E1 2x12 electronic groupset. This configuration includes Zipp 404 Firecrest wheels paired with Pirelli P-Zero Race RS tires.

Aeroad CF SLX 7 AXS Speed

The Aeroad CF SLX 7 AXS Speed features the SRAM Rival AXS E1 2x12 electronic groupset. This model is complemented by new DT Swiss ARC 65mm wheels, which reportedly offer improved aerodynamic credentials and reduced weight compared to their predecessors.

Peloton-Performance Package and Integrated Features

Beyond these specific changes, both "Speed" models retain the aerodynamic characteristics of the Aeroad CFR. This includes the integration of Canyon's CP0048 PACE Bar cockpit, which allows for height and width adjustments without requiring cutting. The PACE Bar also features a Gear Groove interface, providing a stable platform for the rapid mounting of various accessories, such as aerobar extensions and inline computer mounts (available separately).

Pricing and Availability

The Aeroad SLX AXS Speed models are available with either the SRAM Force AXS E1 or SRAM Rival AXS E1 groupsets, offered in a special "Kaze" colorway. The Force AXS E1 equipped model is priced at €6,999, while the Rival AXS E1 version is available for €4,699.

Both bicycles became available for purchase on Canyon.com, via the Canyon App, and at selected Canyon stores starting from Thursday, June 26, 2025.
