We respond to a reader who asks us for information on the new Cannondale Scalpel 2024:

To date, of course, there are no official releases, but the fact that the current Cannondale Scalpel is being offered on the Cannondale website itself could mean two things:

1 - there is a large unsold Cannondale Scalpel: very possible, but usually such initiatives that testify to the failure of a model are not advertised ...

2 - an attempt is made to sell the latest Cannondale Scalpels to make way for the new CANNONDALE SCALPEL 2024 : more than likely ...

Hypothesis two, however, not only does not contradict hypothesis one, but, personally, we consider it an incorrect policy towards those who paid full price for their CANNONDALE SCALPEL a few months back.

But this commercial policy, in defiance of the much vaunted attention to the customer, is now a widespread practice of many producers.

So nothing new under the sun, you follow what others are doing.

We therefore believe that Cannondale is working on a new CANNONDALE SCALPEL 2024 and that this can be presented before the end of the year.

On the other hand, after the renewal of the new CANNONDALE SCALPEL HT 2023, it is physiological and natural that a new CANNONDALE SCALPEL 2024 also arrives.

A new full mtb, lighter, perhaps with a new rear suspension, with fully integrated cable routing and a brand new frame.

We believe the main triangle of the new 2024 CANNONDALE SCALPEL frame will mirror the shapes of the Cannondale Scalpel HT, with a new rear end.

The positioning of the rear shock absorber could be revised.

There will be a CANNONDALE SCALPEL LAB71 2024 version, even lighter and more extreme in its components.

Prices, in our opinion, will start from 13,000 euros for the LAB71 version and then go down with the other less refined models.

At the moment there is no official news, as usual the "newsagents" are silent until the "master" tells them to scream ...
