2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Build quality

The BMC FourStroke ONE 2025 has a very high cost, but a high build quality, nothing to complain about.

Also noteworthy is the wide availability of assemblies and the color range.

The general construction quality is therefore very good, even if the price remains high.

We would have expected a greater number of sizes.

It's not a bargain, but the value for money is in line with other competitors.

2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Frame

The new chassis has been completely revised, only the excellent construction quality remains.

There are no notes to make, but possibly underlining that despite a high price there is excellent general quality and the wide range of assemblies is also a further advantage.

Ultimately the chassis is valid, as it was in the past.

There has been a lot of talk about the new integrated telescopic seat post, an added convenience, but nothing that you can't do without, it doesn't win a race... but we are sure that it will be copied by all the competitors.

2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Assemblies

The range of assemblies is complete and wide, the prices remain high, but essentially for those who want this model, there is no shortage of choice.

The construction and assembly quality, in each version, is high, the ONE version is very well made, expensive but really at the top.

2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Comfort

Very good, it's not a full mtb with 140mm of travel, but it's definitely better than a front. Overall, only those with real physical problems could feel bad.

Overall ride comfort is very good.

2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Guide

The BMC FourStroke ONE 2025 is the classic full XC mountain bike, very reactive, fast and snappy.

It's not an XC front, but in certain situations it's even better.

In the pedaled sections it is easy to drive and intuitive, even if it always remains very easy to handle and with sudden reactions.

You always need to be focused while riding, it's not a mountain bike for touring.

Uphill it is perfect or almost perfect, excellent traction, low weight, perfect suspension work.

You can't ask for more from a full mtb, in certain situations it goes even better than a front.

It's clear that downhill it's far faster and safer than a front XC mountain bike, and also easier to ride.

It remains a stiff, reactive, nervous full xc mountain bike, requiring a certain riding experience to be pushed to the limit.

However, it remains a chassis which, once known, has predictable reactions, even easy to control, but very quick, excellent reflexes and speed of action are needed at high speeds.

Going down the pace the bike is pleasant and very enjoyable on any route.

Excellent braking and suspension, smooth and easy to set up.

An excellent XC mountain bike, excellent on any route, at the top on technical and difficult routes, very guided and narrow.

2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Performance

The low weight, the excellent frame, the geometries and the excellent suspensions lead to excellent and very competitive performance.

It's a 360 degree MTB, it goes fast everywhere, from the fast pedaled sections, to the more demanding climbs, and then ending up on the more technical descents.

It is uncatchable where speed and maneuverability are needed.

At high speeds you need experience and decision, the only weak point.

A full XC mountain bike for expert bikers, capable of making full use of the characteristics of its frame.

In absolute terms it is at the top of its category, an excellent full XC mountain bike, technically competitive, then the real difference is made by the legs and riding skills.

2025 BMC FourStroke ONE test review Pros and cons

The BMC FourStroke ONE 2025 confirms itself as the full xc mountain bike we already knew.

It's a competitive mountain bike against all its competitors.

Two defects:

- not easy to push to the limit, very nervous and reactive at high speeds

- prices are generally high although proportionate to the quality of the product.
