At the height of the cyclocross season, Canyon can now proudly announce its new partnership with Beobank-Corendon effective from 1st January, 2018. The Belgian team will compete on the cross course aboard the new Inflite CF SLX, a bike engineered to meet the punishing demands of the modern sport.

Canyon is committed to providing its technical partners with the most advanced setups possible to deliver the very top level in performance. In exchange, its engineers and product managers profit from in-depth feedback from the world’s best riders, a process that flows directly into the development of future bikes.

When it comes to putting its products through the ultimate test, there can be no better candidate than Mathieu van der Poel. The Dutchman’s immense potential and aggressive riding style are a huge prospect for Canyon Founder & CEO, Roman Arnold: “Mathieu is quite simply the biggest talent in the sport right now. Watching him ride is something else, each time he competes he’s so committed, so skilful and rides with such passion. For all of us here at Canyon, it’s Pure Cycling, through and through.”

Van der Poel has targeted XC gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, an objective that all at Canyon are driven to make a reality. The Dutchman will receive full support throughout the UCI XC0 World Cup season from 2018 onwards. After the cross season and away from Cross Country, Beobank-Corendon will also compete on the road, where riders will have a choice of Aeroad CF SLX and Ultimate CF SLX models, with the Speedmax CF SLX reserved for tests against the clock.

Beobank-Corendon riders make their debut on the Canyon Inflite CF SLX at the Grand Prix Sven Nys in Baal, Belgium on New Year’s Day.
