2022 Eurobike FRANKFURT Braking 2023 news review

At Eurobike Frankfurt 2022, Braking presents its range of Braking 2023 braking systems and components. Among the novelties, the new FIRST braking system, 100% Made in Italy and CNC machined and customizable through the choice of various solutions:
- 9mm or 10mm cartridge
- new interchangeable LINK (two sizes available)
- compatible with disc thickness up to 3mm.

The new Braking FIRST brake system has lighter pump and caliper (the torque is 50gr lighter than INCAS 2.0) and more rigid.

New adjustment system for the dead stroke of the MC piston, separate from the adjustment of the lever flow.

Possibility to easily change the reaction arm of the pump, for a braking power up to (+ 26%) compared to In.Ca.S. 2.0

New, thinner pump cartridge with more lubrication holes and laminated piston chamber for better piston sliding

Newly shaped pump tank with increased oil volume (+ 10%) and easy oil pick-up even in inverted position

Easier caliper bleed system - with built-in bleed nipple in the highest position, to make bleeding faster and more effective

New caliper mounting holes, for better and faster centering of the caliper on the frame

New structural pin pad of the caliper, which adds strength to counteract the flexural opening of the caliper

Modified caliper O-ring housing geometry and tolerances for improved piston roll-back and faster oil flow

Ability to directly install 3mm thick discs - without the need for spacers.

It will be available from spring 2023

Another novelty are the new brake pads, road and off road.

ROAD - Pro Tour pad

A new pad expressly dedicated to the ROAD world and with an evolution of the standard Braking compound

It allows excellent braking performance and silence at all temperatures and a longer life than the standard.

It is recommended for road and gravel use.

OFF ROAD - World Cup pad

A new pad with a compound developed specifically to guarantee excellent performance on the most difficult terrain.

This pad guarantees excellent resistance to high temperatures and very powerful and silent braking.

It is recommended for e-bikes, enduro and downhill.
