The rumors continue around the future new Specialized Roubaix.

Specialized has never officially confirmed the existence of this project, but it has also been a long time since Roubaix has been updated.

Rumors of a new SPECIALIZED Roubaix have been circulating for some time, which was expected to be released in 2022, then 2023.

To date it is certain that Specialized has filed patents for a new endurance / gravel frame.

Regarding the gravel version we saw the new Specialized Diverge STR.

Now the road/endurance version is missing, which may be different from the Diverge STR.

A new frame that is lighter, stiffer, more aerodynamic.

The shock absorbing system would no longer be for the fork alone, but also for the rear triangle, but with a different solution compared to the Diverge STR, a system with less travel, but lighter.

Frame weight, we think, under 900 grams.

Price around 4500 Euros for the frame kit.

In the photo we see the design of the new frame patented by Specialized.

It is not clear whether it is intended for road, gravel or mtb.

But for the gravel Specialized has already presented its novelty.

Could it be a new Specialized Epic frame?

It could, but the rumors speak instead of the new Specialized Roubaix 2023 2024 frame.

We'll see if the new Specialized Roubaix will be presented during 2023, or if it will go directly to 2024 ...
