LOOK's research and development team worked closely with Team Cofidis during training camps and throughout the WorldTour season to fine-tune the geometry and responsiveness of the bikes, as well as to optimize the design according to the needs of durability and maintenance of a demanding racing environment. Continuous feedback from Team Cofidis ensures that the latest LOOK bikes not only perform at the highest racing levels, but also offer unrivaled long-term practicality and reliability.
Pierre Jean Martin, CTO, LOOK Cycle, said: “We are thrilled to introduce the new 795 Blade RS and 796 Monoblade RS, the result of our close collaboration with the Cofidis World Tour Team. These state-of-the-art bicycles represent the pinnacle of innovation and performance, the result of the experience and knowledge gained through our collaboration with professional cyclists. The 795 Blade RS and 796 Monoblade RS have been meticulously engineered to excel under the most demanding racing conditions, offering an unprecedented experience to both Cofidis team riders and enthusiasts around the world. With their outstanding aerodynamics, lightweight design and cutting-edge technology, these bikes represent our commitment to pushing the limits of what is possible in cycling. We are confident that the 795 Blade RS and 796 Monoblade RS will allow athletes to reach new heights and redefine the standards of speed and performance in the cycling world.”
The 795 Blade RS uses ultra-high modulus carbon for overall lightness and stiffness, with specific sections of the frame such as the stays, attachment points and bottle cage position developed to optimize aerodynamics. These developments allow the new 795 Blade RS to be 7% stiffer and 10% more aerodynamic than the previous model.
Although the geometry is race oriented, the 795 Blade RS was designed to be easily adjusted to accommodate different rider sizes or preferences without compromising race performance. LOOK's aero cockpit was developed with versatility and ergonomics in mind, allowing stem and handlebar sizes to be easily swapped and customized to suit the needs of individual riders.
Simon Gescke, Pro Rider Team Cofidis, said: “The new LOOK 795 Blade RS that we have the privilege to use this season is simply outstanding. We had long discussions with the LOOK R&D department and with CORIMA before the season to get the best bike possible. This bike is fast and not only does it go fast, it also maintains a constant speed, which is key. Furthermore, it performs flawlessly on any terrain, thanks to its extreme steering precision and perfect aerodynamics. We are really happy to be driving with such cutting-edge technology.”
"The races and the level of cyclists continue to increase and it is important to have full confidence in our equipment, as in the case of the LOOK 795 Blade RS combined with CORIMA wheels."
