New GIANT TRANCE ADVANCED PRO 29 2022 NEWS INFO E PRICE
Giant unveiled the new Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 2022.
One of the strengths of the new Trance Advanced Pro 29 is the flip chip system, which allows cyclists to modify the geometry of the vehicle to suit their riding style and their specific needs.
All frames are characterized by internal cable routing which gives the bike a clean and modern look; There are also integrated protections on the right chainstay and on the lower part of the down tube as standard. Compared to previous generations, the new Trance Advanced Pro 29 models have been updated with greater reach and a more open seat tube angle, as well as having a new rear suspension system that adds 5mm of travel, for improved overall handling, ideal. on off-road trails.
GEOMETRY OF THE ADJUSTABLE FRAME
As happens on other MTB models from Giant, also on the new Trance Advanced Pro 29 there is a Flip Chip, a system through which you can change the measurements of the head tube and seat tube angles, making them more open or closed according to your needs. riding style. The switch, located on the upper connecting rod, can in fact be moved to two positions: the upper one is ideal for slower and more technical terrain and guarantees even more precise control and efficient pedaling. Setting the switch in the lower position, on the other hand, lowers the bottom bracket by 10mm, makes the head tube angle more closed (from 66.2 ° to 65.5 °) and moves the front wheel away from the rider: in this way you can count on a greater stability when driving on steeper terrain and in jumps. At the same time, the center of gravity is lowered, giving the driver even more control on fast descents.
29 ”WHEELS, MANEUVERABILITY AND SAFETY GUARANTEE
The design of the frame and the suspension system of the Trance Advanced Pro 29 have been optimized to be able to equip 29-inch wheels, exploiting their stability and lightness to gain efficiency and overall versatility: for example, thanks to an increased reach and an angle of the more open seat tube (which now settles at 77 °) riders can enjoy a more slender and aggressive position in the saddle, excellent for exploiting the potential of the bike uphill. In addition, with a slightly longer rear stay than the previous models, there is more space for tires with a more generous section.
DESIGN THOUGHT FOR TRAIL
The Maestro rear suspension system fitted to the new Trance Advanced Pro 29 offers greater travel than previous generations, up to 120mm: combined with the 130mm fork, it allows for a natural and fluid ride, the right mix of speed and balance needed to tackle steep climbs, fast descents and steep sections. Not only that: a small cargo space is now integrated into the down tube, designed for the transport of useful items such as an extra inner tube, multitool and supplements: all enclosed in a waterproof and easily accessible pocket.
The new range is available on the Italian market in the Trance Advanced Pro 29 0 "Pulp Gray" (€ 11,299.00), Trance Advanced Pro 29 1 "Carbon / Black Diamond" (€ 6,449.00) and Trance Advanced Pro 29 2 "models. Metal "(€ 4,749.00).
