The Giant XTC Advanced SL 29 1 2023 is a well made, rational mtb bike with an excellent value for money.

The assembly is unique, as is the color and it is not possible to personalize the bike.

The four sizes available are classic, the minimum.

However, everything is considered in the list price, around 5500 euro, which is convenient, but the proposed geometry is not always suitable for the cyclist.

A mtb bike with a medium/high price, but which in terms of build quality and value for money can be compared to higher range bikes.

In the pedaled sections it is easy to drive, light and reactive.

Uphill, it highlights a good balance of weights, excellent traction, but the steering also remains light, which must be steered carefully.

On the other hand, it is always very easy to choose the precise point where to put the wheels, with really fast direction changes.

Uphill we appreciate the low weight and the excellent rigidity of the frame.

Downhill the fork works well, rightly stiff, but smooth and with performance in line with the price of the mtb.

Braking is very good.

Downhill the Giant XTC Advanced SL 29 1 2023 continues to convince with high maneuverability, rapid direction changes, good stability at high speeds.

It's clearly not a bike for a novice, at least if you're looking for maximum performance.

Ridden at a slower pace, it's a safe and easy mtb.

In general it is a high performance bike, perfect for expert and fast bikers.

A light, stiff and reactive frame, with an excellent geometry that ensures high cornering speed.

After some time this frame still offers absolutely competitive performance.

However, the rigidity of the frame is excellent, which in absolute terms is second to none even with more expensive frames.

On the flat the performances are excellent in absolute terms.

Even uphill performance is excellent, as well as downhill.

It's not an easy mtb to ride, but the performance is not lacking.

A great result.

In some respects it could be considered an "outdated" mtb, but in reality it has shown excellent performance, absolutely competitive against the most modern and technological mtb.

In absolute terms it defends itself very well, a real racing mtb.

The defects? It doesn't have all those useless and expensive gadgets that cyclists are asking for today.
