Cervelo Soloist 2023 review video

Cervelo presented the new Soloist racing bike; a novelty, with a historical name, which in any case has nothing to do with today's bike, compared to that of past years.

It is located exactly halfway between the S5 and the R5, which already alone confused the enthusiasts and now she is also there to disturb sleep.

More than sleep or dreams, nightmares, given the usual stratospheric prices in absolute terms, but not even that high compared to competitors.

The frame is great, but at the moment there are no real top assemblies.

This is its limit.

Evidently Cervelo does not want to put it in competition with the R5 and S5.

A shame because it is a direct competitor of the Specialized Tarmac SL7.

Same philosophy, an aerodynamic, stiff and light racing bike.

You may like it or not.

It goes well anywhere, even if it is not the best in every path.

Its advantage is that it is always competitive.

A racing bike with these characteristics was missing in the Cervelo range.

Analyzing the price list we discover that the SHimano 105 di2 version costs more than the mechanical Ultegra version ...

Pure madness ...

But this is what the fans want, so everyone is the architect of their own evil ...

Nice racing bike, but in the end too expensive, niche, without really being superior to the competitors.

Very valid, like all Cervelo, but intended for admirers of the brand.
