The current Bianchi Oltre RC was introduced as a "hyperbike" and represents the pinnacle of Bianchi's aerodynamic engineering. Developed by the company's Reparto Corse (Racing Department), this bicycle was designed to maximize speed and efficiency, with a particular focus on reducing aerodynamic drag. Its distinctive features include:

Integrated Components: The Oltre RC benefits from an integrated handlebar/stem system, dedicated wheels, and a saddle designed to allow for an optimal aerodynamic position.
Exclusive Technologies: At its launch, the Oltre RC introduced innovative elements such as "Air Deflectors" on the head tube (later removed for UCI regulatory compliance), demonstrating the search for cutting-edge solutions to improve performance.
Prospects for the 2027 (or 2026) Model
Considering the life cycle of flagship models in the high-performance cycling sector, a significant update for 2027 would not be unexpected. Bianchi has already anticipated that one of the 2027 novelties will be the new Bianchi Oltre RC 2027. Therefore, it is certain that a new Bianchi Oltre RC could be seen between mid-2026 and the first months of 2027.
The 2027 Bianchi Oltre RC could incorporate further upgrades in aerodynamics, derived from new research and technological developments. This could include:
Further Aerodynamic Refinements: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies and wind tunnel testing could lead to even more efficient tube profiles and greater component integration.
New Composite Materials: The use of new generations of carbon fiber or advanced layup techniques could allow for a reduction in weight and an increase in stiffness, while maintaining or improving compliance.

Since the Bianchi Oltre RC is Bianchi's top-of-the-range competition bike, we believe the goal will be to present a racing bike at the limit of the UCI regulatory weight of 6.8kg, with pedals and bottle cages, meaning a bike weighing approximately 6.4kg without pedals in a size medium.
This result could be achieved by bringing the frame weight down to about 790 grams and shedding weight from other components, such as the integrated handlebar and seat post.
This goal should not reduce the frame's aerodynamics, which we believe could be improved by 5%, or its stiffness, which will be enhanced by at least 10%.
Riding comfort might remain unchanged or slightly improved; we estimate a 3% improvement in vibration absorption.
With these characteristics and a price that should remain unchanged or nearly so, the new Bianchi Oltre RC 2027 would present itself as one of the best choices in the category.
Of course, alongside the top-of-the-range model, the other models would then be presented, such as the Bianchi Oltre RC Pro 2027 and Bianchi Oltre RC Race 2027, with less refined assemblies and heavier carbon fiber, but always with a decisive upgrade compared to the current models in the range.
At the moment, there are no confirmations regarding the technical aspects of the new Bianchi Oltre 2027, but our hypotheses seem very plausible.
