BH presented the new gravel BH GravelX 2023 2024.

Many news.

The new GravelX heralds BH's debut in the world of racing gravel bikes. You won't find many mounting points for luggage on this bike, because it's aimed at new gravel racing and everyday rides. That is, the moments in which performance is a fundamental part of the fun.

SRS anti-vibration system

One of the main objectives in designing the new GravelX was to obtain maximum performance while avoiding the fatigue to which the cyclist is subjected after many hours on the bike on rough terrain. For this purpose, the SRS (Smooth Riding System) vibration absorption system was developed. Thanks to the shape of the chainstays and the pivot point that joins the seat tube to the vertical chainstays, a controlled flex zone is obtained, capable of filtering the vibrations of the ground. The system is able to offer a movement of 3 to 5 mm depending on the rider's weight. Furthermore, the Air Bow Gravel fork, inspired by the most recent innovations in the BH road line, helps dissipate vibrations thanks to the curved design, obtaining greater control and riding comfort without affecting performance.

A light and resistant frame

Being a competition bike, the GravelX frame and fork are made with the HCIM process used on the best BH carbon bikes. The frame uses high modulus carbon fibers combined with Ballistic carbon, a type of carbon specially selected for its greater impact resistance and used in MTB models. The weight reached is only 1,050 grams, definitely competitive if you consider that it integrates the new SRS anti-vibration technology.

The shapes of the GravelX follow the line of the other BH models, making it easily identifiable in the context of the new visual language used in the latest launches. The aesthetics of the frame are joined by the Air Bow Gravel fork, visually sister to the road Air Bow fork, but designed to withstand the demands of gravel.

Both the frame and fork are capable of accommodating tires up to 45mm.

Top-class integration and material compartment in the frame

Integration has become a key pillar in the design of BH's new models. The new GravelX uses a completely hidden saddle lock in the frame. There is also internal wiring equipped with the ICR system. In this case, a system was chosen that also allows the use of conventional stems and handlebars to ensure maximum compatibility with the frame. The wheel quick releases, with the levers completely hidden inside, follow the same philosophy of total integration.

One of the elements that distinguish the BH GravelX is the compartment created in the diagonal tube. Discreet and practically imperceptible to the eye, it allows us to safely transport basic elements such as a mini pump or a CO2 cylinder. There's even room for a foldable inner tube that's easy to open and close and requires no tools.

Other elements of aerodynamic integration have also been inherited, such as the Aerolight bottle and bottle cage, as well as the Aerolight Toolbox system for carrying objects such as food or tools.

Safety is a key concept, which is why the seat post is equipped with an anchor for the powerful BH Planck rear light, which integrates perfectly and is very quick and easy to mount.

BH GravelX range

The BH GravelX range consists of a total of 4 models starting at 3,299.90 euros. You can choose from 5 standard colors and create a unique design thanks to the BH Unique program.
