Argon 18 E119 Special Edition 2026: The Argon 18 Bike Debuts at the 70.3 Marbella World Championships

Argon 18 Launches the E119 Special Edition 2026

Argon 18 introduces the E119 Special Edition, a new limited-edition model for 2026. This time trial bike was developed to maximize performance in competition through a collaboration with Classified Cycling and Parcours Wheels.

The official launch of the bicycle took place in a real race context: the 70.3 2025 World Championships in Marbella. To demonstrate the model's capabilities in competitive conditions, Age-Group athlete Will Newbery used the E119 as part of the "Race Like a Pro" program, which included technical support and specific preparation.

Bike Performance and Componentry

The setup chosen for the E119 Special Edition focuses on efficiency and adaptability to the World Championship course. Key features included:

Classified Powershift Transmission System: Integrated into the rear hub, this system provides instant, seamless gear changes and reduces the need for a front derailleur, enhancing efficiency.

Parcours Chrono Wheels: Designed for effective aerodynamic performance against crosswinds and to maintain stability, even on uneven surfaces.

E119 Frame: Argon 18's platform built to ensure optimal aerodynamics and predictable handling at high speed and while cornering.

Will Newbery's impressions after racing the bike confirm its effectiveness:

"The Argon 18 Special Edition E119 with the Parcours and Classified setup was an exceptional bike. I found the balance between speed and stability in the wind to be excellent, and the Classified system was fundamental for tackling the Marbella climbs. The damping capacity of the wheels helped keep my legs fresh despite the asphalt not always being smooth. I found no flaws in this bicycle."

The Race Like a Pro Program: Integrated Support

The in-race testing of the E119 Special Edition was accompanied by professional support, which highlighted how the bike's performance integrates with athlete preparation. Professional triathlete Ruth Astle provided coaching and specific strategic advice for the Marbella course. Support provided to Will also included optimization of the riding position (bike fit), technical assistance throughout the event week, and complete mechanical support on race day.

The event showcased how the innovation of the new Argon 18 E119 2026 translates into a concrete advantage in a high-level event like the 70.3 World Championships. The Special Edition combines limited series technology with professional preparation and focused support.
