The test

We did test the bars Egg Bar +Watt in lactose intolerant athletes. In all cases the athletes are judged just the product for its digestibility and the absence of the typical side effects of foods and milk products. The consistency of the product is superior to the normal fingers and takes a little more power for proper chewing of the product. Despite this, athletes have found this a problem, while the two available flavors were found pleasing. The digestibility was considered good, although given the high caloric intake, with a just distribution of the three principles of food, the effective assimilation occurs with a lag, an hour at least. A value that it may be high, is in line with other similar products, with a high in complex carbohydrates and protein. For this reason, the Egg Bar, as recommended, inter alia, an honest +Watt, not a bar to be taken during physical performance. No one forbids to do so and there are no contraindications, but obviously, the availability of energy and its assimilation are not fast and also his digestion requires a certain energy absorption. But the Egg Bar is ideal for its intended use as an energy bar before the race, which ensures good dose of carbohydrates and proteins, to be taken approximately one hour and thirty minutes before the race. Another important use of Egg Bar is like a meal after the race. Here again provides an excellent food, complete the reintegration of energy expenditure during competition. Also showed that athletes taking an Egg Bar very satisfied by the feeling of hunger, and also greatly facilitates the control intake of total calories. To this can be recommended as a meal replacement, in the presence of a controlled diet. In conclusion a great product that meets those athletes in that year against intolerance of milk and its derivatives, does not mean that can be used with maximum effectiveness by all the other athletes. Its formulation is comprehensive and rich in carbohydrates and proteins, so as to make it perfect as a food pre-race or post race. As pre-race food is preferable to take at least an hour before the activity, then having the advantage of ensuring a large reservoir of energy. More than excellent, then its use as a meal replacement, since it guarantees a good feeling of satiety. The price of 1.80 Euro is approximately in line with other products.
