Team Radioshack-Leopard starting this year with new Trek Madone 7.
The new frame is characterized by a more aerodynamic tubing profile, if not extreme like other models. Typical rear triangle, with the rear brake located under the bottom bracket. The cable passage is internal. The bike is assembled with Shimano Di2, fully used, even if some athletes prefer to use Bontrager brakes, instead of the traditional Shimano; also cranksets can be equipped with SRM power detector. The rest of the components is Bontrager, used for stem, handlebar, seatpost, saddle and wheels. Andy Schleck's bicycle is characterised by his SRM power detector and especially for the Bontrager stem with a clear negative inclination; Schleck also adopts the Dura Ace brakes. Other specialties of Andy's bike is the use of dual controls Di2 for flat bar so he can operate also with derailleur shifter and the hands on the handle bar. For the rest of Andy's bike is technically identical to that of team-mates. A lightweight bike with excellent performances, expressing its high potential on every kind of path.
